Tiffany Hollinger Launches an Apartment Project with help from VCC

A block from the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center on East 105th Street sits a house that has been in disrepair for the better part of a decade. But now, a new developer is looking to transform the home into apartments, the inaugural project for her new firm. Named Project 1500, the home renovation is led by Tiffany Hollinger and her new Cleveland-area-based real estate firm, Astrea Development. A $750,000 redevelopment, Project 1500 is a full renovation of the century-old home built in 1910. Over time, it was carved into apartments, which Hollinger will mostly keep.

The end product will be a total of five future apartments — three two-bedroom units and two three-bedroom units — she intends to fill with medical professionals with families. Hollinger acquired the two-parcel property from the community development corporation FAMICOS Foundation in 2024 for $60,000, according to county records. FAMICOS has owned the property since 2017. The total development cost of Project 1500 is $750,000. The architect is Quadriga Studio, construction is by Yosemite Construction and the lender is Village Capital Corporation.
