In August 2025, Village Capital Corporation (“VCC”) proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting for one of our investment projects, “89 th Rising.”. The project, developed by Tim Tramble, consists of 48 units of new townhouse-style apartments in the Fairfax neighborhood of Cleveland. In 1995, when Tim, a community development leader, built his home in Fairfax neighborhood there had been no new residential construction in over 40 years and there had been significant demolition of older housing.
His commitment and passion led to the creation of the $11,000,000 development on E. 89th Street and financing from a syndicate of Community Development Financial Institutions and governmental entities. The project has been well-received by neighbors and stakeholders and is already generating attention from other investors and developers that want to follow Tim’s lead.
